Michaela was born and raised on Long Island, just an hour from Manhattan. She is a recent graduate from Wilkes University's BFA Musical Theatre program, where she also received a minor in dance and creative writing. Michaela has been singing since she was in a high chair, and she started performing locally at age eleven. She has the range and power of a classical soprano, but her musical theatre background has prepared her for all kinds of styles. Whatever she sings, you can count on her to bring out the emotion and the impact of the words, because telling a story is just as important to her as sounding good!
