Subby is a talented Nigerian singer whose foundational musical training dates back to his experiences as a lead and backup vocalist in a contemporary gospel choir from the age of 14. He has since become accustomed to a wide variety of musical styles, ranging from AfroBeats, Reggae, RnB, Soul, Jazz, Rock and Pop. He is also an amateur bass guitarist and voice over artist. His music is strongly influenced by artists such as Asa (Bukola Elemide), Sam Smith, Hozier, Frank Ocean, John Legend and Hillsong. Whilst in College, he served as the musical director of a campus choir for 2 years, where he worked as a composer, lead, and backup vocalist. He plans to release his debut album in late 2021.
